Transfer chip

A transfer chip, also known as a data-transfer chip, was used around 4 ABY to transfer credits between different creature's accounts. The transfer chip's features included a miniaturized input module and the ability to instantly transfer credits to bank accounts in a variety of star systems. Access to a cantina that had a verify-and-transmit connection with the local banking exchange was necessary.
