A senior member of the Herdessan Guild and advisor to Spokesman Brylin, Tof was a white-bearded, elderly man who wielded great influence in the Guild. Tof received the delegation from the Alliance of Free Planets on Herdessa some four years ABY and later advised Brylin to detain them. When Princess Leia Organa escaped and rallied the Herdessans against the rule of the Guild, the regime collapsed, despite the assistance of Imperial stormtroopers led by Dark Lady Lumiya.
