The Tocan system was a star system located within the Sumitra sector of the Expansion Region. It was the site of a battle between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic in which the Alliance forces were heavily defeated by the Empire's Tierfon Sector Fleet. The Rebel survivors spent some time recuperating in the Ghorman system.
