Classic Star Wars: A New Hope is a Random House adaptation of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. A part of the "Bullseye Book" series, it was adapted by Larry Weinberg and released in 1995. As a young readers novel, it condenses many of the scenes and puts Darth Vader as a key player. A new version was released in 2004.

Continuity

It shortens many of the scenes. The characters say that Alderaan did not have a moon. The book also removes Red Leader's trench run.
