The Algunnis system was a binary star system located within the Trax sector in the Mid Rim region of the galaxy.

Description

The Algunnis system was a binary star system located in the Trax sector[2] of the Mid Rim.. The system contained no planets, but did include a large asteroid belt[1]

History

During the formation of the galaxy, Imperial scientists theorized that the binary star Algunnis passed close to several star system, capturing young planets and crushing them into a massive asteroid field with its gravitational pull. The system was devoid of settlers by the time of the Galactic Civil War, but did contain space slugs.[2]
