Alderaan Expatriate Network
The Alderaan Expatriate Network (AEN) was a news network set up by Alderaanian expatriates in the wake of the destruction of their homeworld. Many of the staff working for AEN were members of the Alderaanian media who were stationed off-world at the time of the planet's destruction.[1] The purpose of the network was to spread the truth about the Galactic Empire's attack on their the planet. The network was openly sympathetic to the Rebellion and forwarded any material they could get hold on—including holotapes of the destruction of Alderaan, recorded by a satellite orbiting Delaya to other Rebel-affiliated news networks.
