Tal Pak was a notorious smuggler during the Galactic Civil War. He was an oily fellow with a rat-like face and rotting teeth. He met with Rebel agents in the Red Moon Saloon on Tatooine where he sold them information on the location of vital starship spare parts. He was betrayed by his henchman Vassk, who had tipped the Galactic Empire. When fighting broke out between stormtroopers and the Rebels in the Red Moon Saloon, Pak grabbed the money the Rebels had paid him and tried to flee amidst the shooting.
