TIE lander/Legends
The TIE lander was a large troop transport manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems, based on the design of the TIE/sa bomber.[1]
Characteristics
This craft was a scaled-up version of the TIE/br boarding shuttle.[3] The lander had a triple hull, and could carry a stormtrooper company.[1] This design was reminiscent of the Imperial troop transport.
History
The Imperial garrison base in Mos Eisley was equipped with TIE landers.[1] As part of Shira Brie's cover story, her people were said to have been attacked by stormtroopers using these transports.[2]
