TIE interceptor combat medallion

The TIE interceptor combat medallion was an Imperial starfighter pilot medal awarded for completing basic training with TIE/IN interceptors. It had an engraving of a TIE/IN interceptor.

There were three versions of the medal, which differed only in the metal used to create it: bronze, silver, and gold. The bronze version was awarded to pilots who completed training relating to the TIE/IN's threat display as well as reenacting a mission of luring a Rebel cruiser into an ambush by attacking a supply depot. The silver version was awarded to pilots who completed training relating to the above as well as a reenactment of a mine-sweeping operation. The gold version was presented to pilots who completed the above training operations as well as a reenactment of a mission to destroy several Rebel cargo containers and the Rebel fighters guarding them.

Known recipients

Maarek Stele received all three versions of this medal after completing the training ops relating to the TIE/IN when he was freshly recruited.
