Survival Day
Survival Day was the term given to the days that The Broken Tusk was rented for exclusive use by the Galactic Empire. Imperial forces brought prisoners to the Tusk and forced them to fight in the Dool Arena, usually against various predators and creatures. Some were matched against the Barabel shockboxer Tull Raine.[1]
The captives selected for Survival Day were either scheduled for execution, or had information the Empire wanted to extract from them. The only way out of fighting in the arena was to reveal their information, or win the fight. No prisoner was known to have won their combat, and prisoners who revealed their information were removed from the arena but were never heard from again.[1]
Top-ranking Imperial officials enjoyed the spectacle of Survival Day, paying huge sums of money to the Gamorrean Greel for use of the Tusk.[1]
