"In his mind, torture is an art form and almost a game: he seems to perceive his challenge to be to traverse the line of one's pain and endurance without going so far as to kill the person. Unfortunately, when he loses his little game, his prisoner does as well."
Tirranna, on Mox Slosin[1]

The subjugation of Fitca was an action carried out by the Galactic Empire in the Fitca system during the early years of the Galactic Civil War.

The subjugation

During the subjugation of Fitca, Colonel Shanda Dok took part in the first Alliance support wave on the planet Fitca Prime. She was captured by the Empire and immediately taken before Mox Slosin, an Imperial Intelligence interrogator stationed in the Fitca system.[1]

Despite being one of the Empire's most effective interrogators, Slosin got too enthusiastic with her intense interrogation. Colonel Dok refused to betray the Alliance and, for her resolve, died at Slosin's hands.[1]

Eventually, the subjugation of Fitca Prime and its system was completed.[1][4]

Aftermath

Following the successful subjugation of Fitca, Slosin was transferred to Urce and became a High Inquisitor in charge of the Lesser Plooriod Cluster.[1]

In 2 ABY, a report from the Task Force on Alliance Security described the murder of Colonel Dok as the worst case of Slosin's "overly sensitive" interrogations.[1]

  3. In Alliance Intelligence Reports, Tirranna mentions her encounter with High Inquisitor Mox Slosin when she was captured "approximately two and a half years ago" in Pa'hir'al City. Alliance Intelligence Reports is set approximately two years after the Battle of Yavin. Consequently, it can be concluded that Mox Slosin had achieved the rank of High Inquisitor by 1 BBY.
