Stoneheart
Stoneheart was an artificial intelligence computer that was used by the Galactic Republic. It was installed on an asteroid and designed to analyze enemy tactics and counter them. Eventually, Stoneheart outlived its usefulness and was shut down.
Stoneheart was accidentally reactivated and deployed it sensors, learning of the Galactic Civil War. Staying true to the tenets of the Republic, Stoneheart installed itself in an old protocol droid Candor Six Six Twelve and made its way to Ord Mynock Freeport seeking to join the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
