Stardust pass
The stardust pass was an area of space in the Kantel system where, once a year, the planet Tyed Kant passed through the system's belts of stellar debris. The passage subjected Tyed Kant to intense meteorite showers which sparked beautiful but deadly atmospheric fires. Due to the danger, the residents of Tyed Kant sheltered behind the protective shields of their floating ranches and enjoyed a roughly thirty-day holiday.
