Agronomy
Agronomy was the science of using plants. The Nuiwit of Altor 14 almost wiped out their neighbors, the Avogwi, through strategic use of agronomy by developing a tarpaulin plant that secreted an enzyme that resembled water condensation. When an Avogwi landed on the plant to take on water, they were stuck by the enzyme which acted as a glue. The struggle of the Avogwi tripped a motion sensor that closed the plant with the victim trapped inside.
