Sound-suppression system

A sound-suppression system was noise reducing circuitry built into the seating areas of small amphitheaters and arenas to limit the sound waves emanating from the floor of the arena. In 2 BBY, before its destruction, the amphitheater at Stars' End was equipped with a sound-suppression system.
