Soren was a Rebel starship component factory located in the Mobetta system. Following an unsuccessful attempt to destroy the Compellor in the Goff system at the Goff Platform, Soren was discovered and Task Force Vengeance sent the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Rage to disable the factory, uncover any potential data about rebel activity and then place charges in the factory to destroy it in the First Battle of Mobetta. Rebel attempts to evacuate personnel through a YT-1300 light freighter Goldhawk and a pair of Lambda-class T-4a shuttles to the cruiser Crucible failed.
