Sooma system
The Sooma system was a star system located in the Thanium sector of the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories[1] that contained the planet Sooma,[2] the homeworld of the sentient Sooman species.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Sooma system first appeared, albeit unidentified, in Droids (1986) 4, the fourth issue of the Star Wars: Droids comic series published by Star Comics, an imprint of Marvel Comics,[2] which was first published on October 1, 1986.[4] It was first identified in The Essential Atlas, a reference book written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace[5] and released on August 18, 2009,[6] which placed the system in grid square R-6.[5]
