Somago

Somago, also called chokers, were carnivorous worms akin the raen sovra, and like it, native to Tenek. While arboreal in nature, it avoided the vinna forest habitat of the raen sovra. The worms fell on prey passing below their perches and constricted them to death. There were several species, each named for their unique shape:

The helmet somago was the rarest species, shaped perfectly to envelop the head of a humanoid victim.
