A Solid Fuel Converter was a type of Fuel converter that could convert virtually any matter into power for fuel cells. It required five metric tons of light materials—including oxygen, water, plastics, cellulose, and waste material—to recharge a single power cell. Heavier materials, such as uranium and plutonium, can recharge a single cell with only one metric ton of material.
