Silencer (component)

Silencers were weapon attachments placed on the barrel of a slugthrower. The attachment deadened the sound of the weapon firing, which made it a favorite of special forces. Many weapons used by Alliance Special Forces were fitted with silencers, such as the Adjudicator and the SH-9 slugthrower pistol. Merr-Sonn manufactured the NonSonic Silencer.
