Adrenal gland
The adrenal gland was a gland on many lifeforms. Yuuzhan Vong coral had one, from which Sinsor Khal extracted tissue for analysis and discovered that its genetic sequences translated to all of the organism's cells enabling it to spawn and communicate with other cells.
