The letter was the thirty-third letter of the Aurebesh alphabet. It was pronounced "shen", and had the value of /SH/.
Behind the scences
Shen is meant to be a single letter used for the SH sound, like, for example, Š/Sz is used in some Slavic languages or Ш in the Cyrillic alphabet. The "besh" in "Aurebesh" is thus spelled besh-esk-shen, rather than besh-esk-senth-herf.
