Acid lizard
Acid lizards were gigantic reptiles who dwelt underground on the planet Tatooine. They possessed a scaled purple hide, mottled with green spots. They are known as acid lizards due to the strong acid inside their large mouths. Gotar was an acid lizard. In 0 BBY, an acid lizard encountered R2-D2 in the desert, causing a dent in Artoo's dome.
