Sand Slug
The Sand Slug was a blue creature that could be found inside caves on the planet Tatooine. Crawler Cavern was known to be home to many Sand Slugs.
Behind the scenes
The manual for the 1991 Star Wars video game named these creatures "Giant Slugs." In an article in an issue of Nintendo Power, however, they were called Sand Slugs.
