Sand People (species)
Sand People,[1] also known as Rasta Aliens,[2] were a humanoid species that had spines on their calves, a long rippling strain near their neck, and short stubs on their heads. They were capable of generating and releasing energy via their bodies. They could be found on Tatooine, where they shared the Tusken Cave with the Tusken Raiders,[3] who were also known as Sand People.[4]
Behind the scenes
Although unnamed in the game and its manual,[3] they were identified in an issue of the magazine Nintendo Power separately from a "Tusken Raider."[1] The Star Wars Hint Book calls them "Rasta Aliens".[2]
