Ace Squadron (New Republic)

Ace Squadron was a starfighter squadron equipped with RZ-1 A-wing interceptors that served with the New Republic Defense Force. It was commanded by Captain Pash Cracken, son of Contruum native and chief of New Republic Intelligence General Airen Cracken.

Ace Squadron was originally part of a fighter wing known as Cracken's Flight Group, made up of the former Imperial pilots who had defected to the Rebel Alliance alongside Cracken, but attrition forced the remaining pilots to be consolidated into a single squadron. This reconstituted Ace Squadron was assigned to Commander Varth's wing.
