The Rylith crystal was a crystal capable of collecting and storing solar energy. This characteristic made the Rylith power cell a popular choice as a component in the design of advanced weapon power supplies.

The crystals were found on the surface of the planet Demophon during the time of the Galactic Empire^[1].
