Robet Makina was a one-time supporter of the Galactic Empire who joined the Rebel Alliance after witnessing the viciousness of the Empire. He was loyal to the New Republic after the Battle of Endor and eventually became the New Republic ambassador to Glova.
Behind the scenes
In the reprint of The Politics of Contraband in Classic Adventures, Makina's name is given as "Robert Makina" in his biography, but is kept as "Robet" in the text of the adventure. The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, published in 2008, lists him as "Robet Makina." This article assumes that Classic Adventures biography text was in error.
