Abam Tev was a female Imperial governor of a poor, outlying system. Kuat Drive Yards outsourced production of the A-9 Vigilance interceptor to her world and Tev ran her shipyards without any concern for the welfare of the workers. The workers eventually overthrew her and allied with the New Republic around 10 ABY, providing them with a batch of A-9s.
