Rendezvous Buoy

The Rendezvous Buoy was a holographic projection generated by a starship's flight computer as a visual reference marker for the pilot. A type of hyperspace navigation buoy, the Rendezvous Buoy served a variety of functions, and was considered a general-purpose navigational aid. Its most common use was, as the name suggests, to mark out rendezvous points for a number of vessels.
