Remitik was a planet located near the Hoth system, in the Outer Rim. In 3 ABY, a Alliance to Restore the Republic repair yard was located near the planet. In preparation for the Battle of Hoth, the Galactic Empire launched an attack on the yard. After the repair yard was destroyed, the Imperial forces ambushed the Rebel craft retreating from Hoth.
