Red Police
The Red Police were a militia on Prakith, during the reign of Moff-turned-Warlord Foga Brill.
Their duties included providing security for the families of Prakith citizens conscripted into the Grand Imperial Navy. They may also have been responsible for the mass executions of homeless vagrants that were said to occur in some of the planet's urban areas.
They may have been established by the warlord as he reorganized his sector group to strengthen his power, or they may have had earlier origins during the time when Prakith was a loyal Imperial fortress world.
Behind the scenes
The Red Police may have been intended as a reference to the red-armored Coruscant Guards created for the Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire multimedia event, which appeared in the same year as Shield of Lies, and which are said to have served on a number of Core Worlds.
