Ranphyx
The ranphyx was a large, feline predator native to the A'driannamieq Mountains of the planet Elom.
Ranphyx had spotted pelts that afforded the beasts natural camouflage, and the males had short mane of fur around their heads. All ranphyx had five horns on their faces—one on the forehead, one under each ear and two on the chin—used for protection and as piercing weapons in fights. Ranphyx had bare, forked tails that some scientists believed helped to dissipate heat, while others claimed it was for emotional displays.
Ranphyx lived in large, social packs led by a male known as the kzenka to the Elomin. Every adult member of the pack helped train the young.
