Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A special foam was employed by safety services to encase engines suspected of leaking radiation. In 8 ABY, a false radiation alarm at Montrol Spaceport on Gandle Ott caused the engines of the CR90 corvette FarStar to be smothered in radiation dampening foam.
