Radar turret
Radar turrets were immobile radar posts that were utilized by the Galactic Empire.
During the Battle of Tatooine and its aftermath, the Empire installed various radar turrets throughout the planet's desert landscape, due to their trying to search for the missing Death Star plans that were sighted on the planet. Luke Skywalker, while driving his landspeeder throughout the planet, had to avoid the radar posts.
