Porus Vida
- "These are allies of our enemy, bringing gifts and swearing allegiance to Coruscant."
- ―Colonel Ivan Cronus
Porus Vida was a planet located in the Inner Rim and famous for its beauty and its culture. Despite its reputation as a peaceful world of museums, Porus Vida saw conflict throughout its history, including several sieges during the Alsakan Conflicts, and was devatasted by the Imperial Remnant in 12 ABY.
History
- "They chose the wrong side in this galactic conflict, and now they will pay for it."
- ―Colonel Ivan Cronus
Populated by Humans,[4] Porus Vida was a world with beautiful museums of its culture and manicured gardens.[3] Porus Vida joined the Galactic Republic prior to the Indecta Era. During the Alsakan Conflicts, it was located in the Exploitation Region. The planet was besieged during the First Alsakan Conflict and again during the Second Alsakan Conflict.[5]
Around the era of the Sith Wars between the Republic and various Sith factions, Porus Vida was subjugated by a mercenary fleet hired by the nearby world of Norulac. Led by the psychotic mass-murdered Lunatta, the mercenaries successfully conquered the peaceful world, and Lunatta was permitted to loot an art museum on Porus Vida as her payment.[6]
Porus Vida eventually affiliated with the New Republic and it was one of the first planets attacked by the Imperial forces after the Imperial Reunification in 12 ABY. Victory-class Star Destroyers of the Crimson Command devasted the world under Colonel Ivan Cronus.[3]
