"What's this? Now what have we got here? Some kind of porridge. You make this?"
―Noa Briqualon to Teek[2]

Porridge was a type of food. The Rebel Luke Skywalker was once served porridge while visiting the planet Serphidi, and the Ewok Wicket Warrick made a pot of porridge while in the hut of the Human Noa Briqualon.

Description

Porridge was a food served in a bowl. It was edible by members of the Human species.[1]

History

In 3960 BBY, the hungry Human Jelph Marrian entered a bar on the planet Kesh. There, he was served a bowl of porridge.[3] In 3 ABY,[4] the Rebel Luke Skywalker traveled to the planet Serphidi. There, he visited the home of the Serp Elglih and his wife, where he was served porridge that Elgih's wife had prepared in a pot. After Skywalker ate some of the porridge, the wife asked if he wanted any more, but Skywalker assured her that he had had enough.[1]

Also in 3 ABY,[5] the Ewok Wicket Warrick made a pot of porridge on a stove while in the hut of the hermit Noa Briqualon. when Briqualon found out that there were intruders in his home, he forced Warrick along with his Human friend, Cindel Towani, to leave. Briqualon then found the porridge on the stove. He asked his companion, Teek, if he was the one who made it. Teek shook his head, and Briqualon offered him some of it. He also served some for himself.[2]

Behind the scenes

Porridge first appeared in the sixty-fourth issue of the Star Wars comic series, which was written by David Michelinie and Michael Fleisher, illustrated by Joe Brozowski,[1] and published on October 1, 1982.[6]
