Pilot (Black Bha'lir)
Pilot was a rank within the Black Bha'lir, directly above that of Apprentice. The rank was bestowed after a year on Apprentices who had proven their worth and demonstrated an understanding of the smuggling business. The majority of the Black Bha'lir's members were Pilots, with many of them not moving beyond the rank because they lacked the business acumen to do more than fly a starship.[1]
