Petroleum
Petroleum was a naturally occurring type of oil that could be used in the production of plastics. The planet Manpha had natural petroleum deposits that boiled up from its swamps. The native Shawda Ubb collected the oil and shipped it to their capital city, Shanpan, where it was processed into plastics for export throughout the galaxy.
