Particle Motivator
A Particle Motivator acted as a starter for the ion acceleration process in TIE Series starfighters by using the kinetic energy acquired from a drop-launch in space or a ground-based repulsor launch to "kick-start" the Microparticle Ion Accelerator. The TIE/IN interceptor used a Particle Motivator of Sarylcorp manufacture.
