Oviparous species produced undeveloped eggs that hatched outside the maternal body, rather than live young.[1] Most reptiles were oviparous.[2] Example of non reptilian species that used that reproductive mode included mollusks like the swamp slugs, reptavians like the peko-peko,[1] avians like the Pylat birds,[3] and amphibians like the Shawda Ubb.[4][2] Although untypical, some mammals, like the S'kytri, were oviparous.[5]
