Ordinance Detonation Test Area

Ordinance Detonation Test Area, abbreviated ODTA, was a term for areas the Galactic Empire used for testing munitions.

One ODTA was located on the planet Stend VI at some point during the Empire's reign. It was eventually abandoned and bought by Blizz Pinnix, a famous swoop racer and the owner of the local cantina called The Pits, who turned the zone into a swoop racecourse known as Raptor Run.

Behind the scenes

The term appears exactly once in all of Legends, on page 72 of the West End Games sourcebook Wretched Hives of Scum & Villainy, where it spelled as above, although it obviously refers to ordnance, not an ordinance.
