The 345th Spira Regatta Open was held on Spira during the Galactic Civil War. Playboy and socialite Seth Cambriel entered the race aboard his personal vessel, the Cambus Gale, and placed almost last. Unknown to the race organizers, Cambriel was a Alliance to Restore the Republic spy, and had used the race as a cover to assist a team of Rebel agents in recovering supplies from the planet's oceans.
