Nullification chamber
A nullification chamber was a structure that placed persons into suspended animation. The exact mechanism was unknown, but as soon as an organism entered the chamber it was put into stasis. The Hall of Satabs was a nullification chamber that was used to prevent the ultimate effects of the shadeshine.
