Nik Sant/Legends
Nik Sant, or "Gramps" as he was affectionately known, was a Lieutenant and survival expert of the Rebel Alliance strike team sent to the forest moon of Endor.
Biography
Galactic Civil War
Sant was a leading member of a group of soldiers who, in the beginning of the Galactic Civil War, devised plans for the Rebellion's guerrilla-like attacks and key targets in the Galactic Empire.

Prior to the Battle of Endor he helped assemble and joined a strike team under the command of General Han Solo, as its oldest member, with the goal to destroy the second Death Star's shield generator on Endor, in order to allow the Alliance Fleet to destroy the battlestation. He, along with the rest of the team, landed on Endor and joined forces with the forest moon's Ewok tribes, who agreed to help them.[1]
The strike team was lead to the back entrance of the shield generator bunker, where four Imperial scout troopers stood guard. When an Ewok, Paploo stole a speeder bike, three of the scout troopers followed, leaving only one at the shield generator. The Rebels captured the trooper and Sant disguised himself in his armor, taking up the trooper's post while the rest of the strike team entered the bunker. However, as part of Emperor Palpatine's plan, more Imperial troops, who had been expecting them, arrived and captured the Rebels, including Sant, who's disguise they saw through. Not long after they were captured, however, the Ewoks ambushed the Imperials, starting the ground battle proper.[1]
