The following events took place in 22 ABY.

- Danni Quee joined the Extragalactic Society.[6]
- The Solo twins Jacen and Jaina Solo joined Luke Skywalker's Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4.[7]
- The youngest Solo child, Anakin, joined the Junior Jedi Class of the Jedi Praxeum months later and befriended a young Human girl named Tahiri Veila. The two young trainees had several adventures including discovering the Golden Globe and the ancient Jedi Master Ikrit,[8] accompanying their Melodie friend Lyric to her homeworld of Yavin 8 to undergo an important ceremony,[9] visits to Dagobah to discover Anakin's future,[10] the discovery of Obi-Wan Kenobi's lightsaber and the holocron of ancient Jedi Master Asli Krimsan at Bast Castle on Vjun[11] and the defeat of the fake mage Orloc.[12][13] Anakin later returned to Coruscant where he attended school, developed his piloting skills, and studied under the careful tutelage of C-3PO.
- Luke and Mara Jade Skywalker traveled to the Unknown Regions where they joined a Chiss/Empire of the Hand mission to locate the remains of the ill-fated Old Republic/Jedi expedition Outbound Flight. They discovered it in an inaccessible region known as The Redoubt and also learned that the survivors of the Outbound Flight had founded a colony within the wreckage. This combined team also defeated a Vagaari attack.[14][13]

Since the difference between that calendar and the Galactic Standard Calendar—based on the date of the Battle of Yavin—was 3,653 years per the reasoning here, the Tho Yor Arrival must have taken place in the year 36,453 BBY of the latter dating system. Therefore, the difference between the Galactic Standard Calendar and the dating system based on the Tho Yor Arrival that is featured in Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void must be 36,453 years.

The book places that event in the year of 1000 BBY of the Galactic Standard Calendar—which was based around the date of the Battle of Yavin—therefore establishing a difference of one thousand years between the two dating systems.

Thus, there is a two-month gap between the two dating systems, with the first two months of a GrS year being the last two of the preceding Galactic Standard Calendar year, and there is a total difference of 35 years and 2 months between the two systems.

The twins were born in 9 ABY according to The Essential Reader's Companion, meaning they turned thirteen in 22 ABY. Since The Essential Reader's Companion also dates The Golden Globe to 22 ABY, Jaina and Jacen Solo first came to the Jedi Academy the same year.
