Morti was the talent agent for Shirley, the Chanteuse of the Stars, a popular singer during the era of the Galactic Civil War. In 3 ABY, Shirley refused to perform at a diplomatic summit on Kabray Station, throwing Morti into a panic. Morti later mistook Rebel leader Leia Organa, who had disguised herself as Shirley to evade pursuit from Imperial stormtroopers, for the "Chanteuse" and ushered her out on stage to perform in her stead.[1]
