Moonshadow (Imperial II-class)

The Moonshadow was an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer operated by the New Republic Defense Force during the Galactic Civil War.

History

It was commanded by Admiral Kir Vantai and was often paired with the Swift Liberty, commanded in turn by Admiral Areta Bell.

At the Battle of Liinade III, it served as the home base for a wing of B-wing starfighters under the command of General Horton Salm. The vessel also delivered the brunt of the damage to the Ciutric Hegemony Star Destroyer Direption before the Freedom, under Sair Yonka, jumped into the engagement and dealt the final blow to the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer.
