Model RLW-77

The Model RLW-77 was a type of wrist laser that caused damage in very short range. These wrist lasers recharged using solar power. The chamber could be overloaded on purpose, transforming the wrist laser into an improvised explosive. The weapon was developed by Koromondain PDS, Incorporated. During the Galactic Civil War, these wrist lasers were used by professional bounty hunters, and in some circles they were considered the mark of distinction of a real professional.
