Mmhmm butterfly

The mmhmm butterfly was an insect native to the jungles of the planet Baskarn. They sometimes covered every tree and bush in sight in the jungle. The mmhmm butterflies served as a food source for the native Yrashu people and could be picked like ripe fruit. The body of the insect was poisonous, but its wings were considered sweet.

Behind the scenes

The mmhmm butterfly was first mentioned in "The Way of the Yrashu," an adventure for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Dustin Browder that was published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 2 in May 1994.
